The Ugly Pumpkin

How could a pumpkin be so ugly that no one would want it?  Everyone walked right past him and soon October was over.  He was left all alone.  He tried to make friends in an apple orchard but they played a joke on him instead.  Then he found a place with lots of squash and decided to make friends there.  And you will never guess what he found out!

Dave Horowitz has done a great job of illustrating his story.  Everyone will love this ugly pumpkin.
