Vivaldi’s Autumn Musical Lesson, Activities & Worksheets

$3.95

Colored leaves introduce the autumn season. It’s a time to harvest and prepare for winter – but not too soon. Students will enjoy listening to the sounds of autumn through guided and creative listening of Vivaldi’s Autumn Violin Concerto from The Four Seasons. They will enjoy creating their own story or poem as they imagine the fall season as the music describes the celebration of the harvest, longer nights and the hunting season. Reading Vivaldi’s the sonnet that describes the music will spark ideas for what an autumn afternoon or morning would look like as students create their own “Autumn” art.
